Know Your Trade-in Value and Negotiate a Better Dea
The only way you can negotiate a better trade in is to know your car's trade in value. There are only a few ways to get an accurate trade in value, and it isn't simply going to KBB.
When you know the value of your trade you can negotiate a much better deal when you purchase your next used car because the dealer can't low ball you. There's several ways to find an accurate trade-in value and it isn't just by opening up the Kelley Blue Book.
NADA also features very accurate trade in values, but they aren't always right on target. Look at what cars like yours are actually selling for in car ads, or through Cars.com and you'll be able to judge whether the KBB or NADA trade in value is accurate.
You can find real car prices just by entering your car make, model and year into the Cars.com website. You can also do this at KBB.com and NADA.org. There you will get an immediate trade-in value.
